A five-speed gearbox and a traction control system manage torque going to the rear wheels; suspension arms that seem like delicate bones from a bird’s wing, replicated in gleaming aluminum, manage bumps; and four internally vented disc brakes with ABS manage speed. Honda’s projections and the test drive of a prototype in Japan indicate zero-to-sixty times in the mid-five-second range and a top speed above 155 mph.
